Before you start

You will need:

Your full name.
An email address that you can open.
A phone number that you use often.
Your business name.
The area and district where your business is based.
The main type of products, events, or stays you want to offer.

Use your own details when creating the account. You will be asked to confirm your identity later, so your name should match the name on your ID.

1. Open the registration page

Open your browser and go to:

www.tambalamarket.store/auth/register

You will see two account options:

Buyer: Shop products — for people who only want to shop.
Business: Sell products, events, stays & venues — for people who want to sell on Tambala Market.

Choose Business.

2. Add your personal details

The first part of the form asks for information about you.

Full name

Enter your name as it appears on your National ID, passport, or driver’s licence.

For example: Thoko Grace Chirwa

Do not enter your business name, nickname, Facebook name, or a shortened version of your name.

Using the same name as your ID will make it easier for Tambala Market to confirm your identity later.

Email address

Enter an email address that you can open and check often.

Tambala Market will use this email address to send you important messages about your account, orders, bookings, and payments. You will also need it when changing your password.

Check the spelling carefully before you continue.

For example: thoko@email.com

A small spelling mistake may stop you from receiving the message you need to confirm your account.

Password

Create a password that is hard for another person to guess. Follow the password rules shown on the page.

Your password should not be your name, phone number, business name, or a simple word such as password.

Do not share your password through WhatsApp, email, or social media.

Confirm password

Enter the same password again in the Confirm Password box.

The two passwords must match. When they do not match, the form will ask you to correct them.

Phone number

Enter a phone number that you use and answer often.

You can start with your country code or just add a 0. For a Malawi phone number, write it like this:

+265991234567 or 0991234567 .

Do not add the first zero after +265. Write:+265991234567Do not write:+2650991234567

Tambala Market may use this number for account help, order updates, booking updates, delivery, or pickup.

Important: Check your email address and phone number before moving on. Wrong details may make it difficult to receive important messages or get help with your account.

3. Add your business details

The next part of the form asks for basic information about your business.

Do not worry if you do not have every business detail ready. You can add more information after creating the account.

Business name

Enter the name customers should see on Tambala Market.

Good examples include:

Mwayi Farm Produce.
Bluewave Electronics.
City Lights Events.
Lakeview Guest House.

Keep the name short, clear, and easy to remember.

Do not add phone numbers, prices, long messages, or words such as “Call now” to the business name.

Write: Bluewave Electronics

Do not write: Bluewave Cheap Phones Call 099...

Business area

Enter the area, township, village, trading centre, or part of town where your business is based.

Examples include:

Area 25.
Ndirande.
Limbe.
Mzuzu City Centre.
Mangochi Boma.
Bembeke.

Use a place that customers and delivery people can easily understand.

Business district

Choose the district where the business is based.

Make sure you choose the correct district. This information may help customers find businesses near them and may also help with delivery or pickup.

Main categories

Choose the categories that best describe your business.

4. Read and accept the rules

Before creating your account, read the rules and agreements shown on the page.

These may include:

The Terms and Conditions.
The Seller Agreement.
Information about privacy.
Information about payments and seller fees.

After reading them, tick the box to show that you agree.

When something is not clear, contact Tambala Market Support before creating the account. It is always okay to ask for help.

5. Check your details

Take a moment to check the form before you create the account.

Make sure:

Your full name matches your ID.
Your email address is spelled correctly.
Your phone number is correct.
Your passwords match.
Your business name is correct.
Your area and district are correct.
You have chosen the right categories.
You have accepted the rules.

Pay special attention to your email address and phone number. These are the main details Tambala Market may use to reach you.

6. Create your account

When everything looks correct:

Select Create Account.
Wait while Tambala Market creates your account.
Do not select the button several times.
Look for a message telling you that the account was created.

When the page shows an error, read the message and correct the part of the form it points to.

7. Confirm your email address

After creating the account, Tambala Market will send a message to the email address you entered.

To confirm your email:

Open your email inbox.
Find the message from Tambala Market.
Open the message.
Select Verify Email.
Return to Tambala Market.
Sign in when asked.

Confirming your email helps Tambala Market know that the address belongs to you.

When you cannot see the email

Wait a few minutes, then check your spam or junk folder. You can also search your inbox for “Tambala Market.”

When you see a Resend Verification Email button, select it once and check your inbox again.

Do not create another account straight away. Contact Tambala Market Support when the message still does not arrive.

8. Sign in to your seller account

After confirming your email, return to Tambala Market and sign in.

Enter the email address and password you used during registration.

After signing in, you should be taken to your Seller Dashboard. This is where you will manage your business, listings, orders, bookings, payments, and store settings.

How to know you have finished

You have finished creating your seller account when:

Your account has been created.
Your email address has been confirmed.
You can sign in.
You can open the Seller Dashboard.

Your business is not fully ready to sell yet. You still need to confirm your identity, complete your business details, set up your store, and add something for customers to buy or book.

Common problems

I did not receive the email

First, wait a few minutes. Then check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.

Make sure you entered the correct email address.

Contact Tambala Market Support when the message still does not arrive.

My email address is already being used

You may already have a Tambala Market account.

Try signing in with that email address. When you do not remember the password, select Forgot Password and follow the steps sent to your email.

My phone number is not accepted

Check that you added the country code and removed the first zero after +265 or you just started with 0

Also make sure there are no extra spaces or missing numbers.

My password is not accepted

Read the password rules shown on the page. Make sure the password is long enough and has any letters, numbers, or special characters the form asks for.

Also check that the password and confirmation password match.

The Create account button is not working

Look through the form for an error message.

Make sure every required box is complete, the passwords match, and the box for accepting the rules is ticked. Also check that your internet connection is working.

I entered the wrong email address

Change it before creating the account when you still can.

When the account has already been created, contact Tambala Market Support for help. Do not create several accounts with different email addresses. If you do, please notify Tambala Market to delete the wrong account.

I forgot my password

Go to the sign-in page and select Forgot Password.

Enter your email address and follow the steps sent to your inbox.

Keep your account safe

Keep your password private and sign out when you use a shared phone or computer.

When someone helps you manage the business, do not give them your password. Use the Tambala Market teammate feature so they can use their own account.

Remove a teammate when they no longer work with your business. Change your password when you think someone else may know it.
